Love you page. I just came across it trying to learn how to pleat a bishop. I just finished my first piece, however, the bottom half is puckering. Any thoughts?

Can you help me find transfer dots for hand-pleating? I made a little smocked dress 40 years ago for my daughter. Now, I am using the same pattern to make the same dress for a granddaughter. Unfortunately, the transfer dots are lost. I don't trust myself to mark the dots with a pencil. I expect to do 6 rows of pleating. This is for a size 1.

I am pleating my first bishop and I don't know what to do with the rest of the fabric when it goes through the pleater. I am pleating 6 rows. Can you tell me what to do with the rest of the fabric as it goes throught the pleater?
